Meet The Staff

Connecting with your therapist is an important part of the process. Not everyone will be the right fit for you and your family.  Your first session should be about getting to know the therapist and determining how comfortable you are with him/her.
That is why your first session will always be on us!

Liz is an experienced mental health counselor who has been serving the emotional, behavioral, and social needs of families in the Atlanta area for over 10 years. She has experience in the areas of trauma, substance abuse, anger management, ADHD, and special needs working with adults, teens, and children.

Liz is a former early childhood educator who recognized the important role that a child’s social, mental, and emotional wellbeing has on his/her ability to succeed academically and in life. After years of teaching and successfully running preschool programs in the Atlanta area, Liz entered the field of social services and mental health counseling. Liz earned a Master’s of Arts from Argosy University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has dedicated years to working with children and families in the community.

Treatment Approach

Liz is a person centered, Adlerian therapist. Person centered therapy is guided by the individual and not the therapist. The therapist creates trust and allows the person space to guide the therapeutic process at a pace that is most comfortable and effective for that individual. Adlerian therapy focuses on understanding the whole person and defining how the different dimensions of that person are working to reach his or her potential (life goals). Liz believes that we all strive to be our best self but sometimes life offers us challenges that cause us to stumble a bit along the way. Liz is dedicated to helping individuals get past those speedbumps of life and actualize their potential.
